More information at https://WeVote.US or @WeVote on X. Role Overview We are looking for a creative Copywriter to join our volunteer social media team. In this role, you will craft engaging, accessible, and nonpartisan messages that connect with voters across multiple platforms. You’ll partner with designers, project managers, and analytics leads to write copy for posts, campaigns, and A/B testing, ensuring our content is consistent, on-brand, and effective in driving voter participation. What You’ll Do Write and edit copy for nonpartisan voter education and GOTV campaigns across social, email, and digital platforms Translate campaign strategies and briefs into engaging, accessible messages tailored to different channels Rapidly generate variations of copy for A/B testing and optimize based on performance data Collaborate with designers, project managers, and analytics leads to ensure copy aligns with creative direction and campaign goals Ensure tone and messaging are consistent with WeVote’s brand and nonpartisan guidelines Maintain organized copy documents and support version control across campaigns Stay up to date on best practices for digital copywriting, accessibility, and platform policies What We’re Looking For 2–4 years of professional experience in copywriting for marketing, advertising, or digital campaigns Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms Familiarity with writing for social channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, etc.) and email campaigns Experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimization a plus Highly collaborative and open to feedback from multiple stakeholders Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously 2+ hours per week during our core team hours M–F 8 a.m. – 6 p.m You are currently located in the US How to Apply Submit your resume (at https://wevote.applytojob.com/apply/) and include a brief note/cover letter to why you are interested in WeVote and helping our mission.
