
The Social Media team is a part of our Marketing and Communications department and is responsible for managing and advancing Navy Federal’s enterprise-wide social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Reddit and keeping the pulse on new or emerging platforms for potential expansion. We partner with business units, other marketing channel teams, and our Social Care Team to identify member and business needs and design social media strategy solutions. Our team blends strategy, creativity, and data to deliver engaging, social-first content to members and prospects. We use platform-native media (e.g., short-form video, animated graphics, and influencer partnerships) to drive brand and product awareness, financial education, acquisition, and affinity, showing up in the moments that matter most. We collaborate with our internal creative team and external media and sports agencies to bring campaigns to life. The Summer Associate will have the opportunity to support the social media strategy and execution of brand campaigns, partnership and sponsorship programs, and community management. The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2026 and ending in August 2026. Students will work on impactful projects and meaningful work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or later.
