This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (San Ramon, CA – PST) Total Weekly Hours: 20 Hours Join a fast-growing consulting startup that helps CEOs, founders, and sales leaders accelerate business growth. The company is building a strong personal brand and thought leadership presence to connect with ambitious entrepreneurs worldwide. Our client is seeking a LinkedIn Social Media Specialist to develop and execute a strategy that builds a powerful LinkedIn presence. In this role, you’ll work directly with the founder to create engaging content, attract and connect with startup leaders, and generate qualified leads. This is a creative, high-impact position offering the freedom to experiment with new ideas, design innovative strategies, and leverage the latest tools to maximize reach and engagement. Responsibilities Create engaging LinkedIn content, including professional posts, carousel PDFs, and visually compelling graphics tailored to startup leaders. Develop and manage strategic content calendars to ensure consistent follower growth and meaningful engagement. Design and produce lead magnets and marketing materials in multiple formats (text, graphics, images, video) to attract qualified prospects. Manage the company’s LinkedIn presence, including community engagement, connection building, and relationship nurturing. Use scheduling and management tools to optimize posting times and maintain a consistent brand presence. Monitor analytics, track performance, and refine strategies based on engagement data. Implement proven LinkedIn growth tactics to expand the follower base and increase brand visibility. Support overall lead-generation efforts through strategic LinkedIn campaigns. Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in social media management with proven LinkedIn expertise and success stories. Social Media Management Portfolio required. Demonstrated track record of growing LinkedIn followings and achieving measurable engagement for professional brands. Deep understanding of LinkedIn’s algorithm, best practices, and high-performing content formats. Advanced proficiency with Canva for creating professional, scroll-stopping graphics and PDFs. Experience with scheduling and management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar). Ability to work independently, deliver consistently high-quality results, and meet deadlines. Strong knowledge of B2B content creation, networking strategies, and the startup/entrepreneurship space. Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.
