Position Overview: At Infinite Views, the Video Editor - Social Media plays a key role in bringing our clients’ stories to life through high-quality, engaging content tailored for social platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing short-form and long-form video assets, aligning with brand guidelines, and continuously refining your skills through feedback and collaboration. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in video editing who thrives on growth, confident in their abilities but humble enough to learn, adapt, and evolve with every project. This role is ideal for a motivated editor who loves storytelling, pays attention to detail, and can balance creativity with efficiency. Responsibilities: What You'll Be Responsible For: As a Video Editor – Social Media at Infinite Views, you’ll edit and deliver a wide range of social media video content while collaborating closely with creatives, social strategists, and post-production leads. You’ll bring fresh energy to each project and embrace feedback as an opportunity to sharpen your skills and elevate the work. What You'll Do Edit engaging social-first content (short-form) that aligns with client goals, brand voice, and Infinite Views’ creative standards. Deliver polished final edits optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. Apply feedback from the Post Production Team Lead and other creatives to improve output, workflow, and technical skills. Collaborate with the creative and social teams to align edits with campaign strategy and visual direction. Manage media files, project organization, and exports for efficient workflow. Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain attention to detail in every frame. Stay current with editing trends, social media best practices, and emerging content styles. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong skills with Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling. 1–2 years of experience in video editing, ideally with social media content. Excellent written and spoken English (clear communication is essential). Receptive to feedback with a positive, professional attitude. Effective communicator, comfortable working with both technical and creative team members. Highly organized, deadline-driven, and solutions-oriented. A confident but humble approach—comfortable with what you know while eager to learn and grow. Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple edits at once. Knowledge of current social trends, formats, and best practices for video content. Growth Opportunities: This role offers the opportunity to grow into a Senior Editor position, taking on more complex projects, mentoring junior editors, and contributing to the evolution of Infinite Views’ creative standards. Over time, you may also move into further roles within the Post Production team.
