The Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) Advertising & Brand Enablement Marketing team is seeking a creative, strategic, and entrepreneurial Social Strategist to architect and activate a best-in-class social media strategy from the ground up. As a dedicated social expert within the Advertising team, you’ll be the go-to authority on all things social-partnering closely with CSBB Marketing leadership, cross-functional teams, and Enterprise Social to define and execute a bold vision for how we show up across platforms. You will also serve as the social evangelist with our agency partners, inspiring breakthrough creative and ensuring every post, campaign, and conversation ladders up to our business goals. In this role, you will: Build from the ground up: Develop and lead the CSBB social media strategy -defining our voice, presence, and purpose across platforms. Drive Business Impact: Align social strategy with CSBB’s business priorities to drive measurable outcomes across consumer and small business segments. Be the Cultural Pulse: Ensure CSBB shows up as a culturally relevant, human, and helpful brand in social listening, engaging, and leading conversations that matter. Collaborate Across the Enterprise: Partner with Enterprise Social, Brand, and Line of Business Marketing teams to influence and integrate social into broader marketing efforts. Inspire Creative Excellence: Set the vision and creative brief for agency partners, championing bold ideas and breakthrough storytelling that resonates with our audiences. Measure What Matters: Use data and insights to continuously optimize performance, connect social activity to business outcomes, and tell compelling stories of impact. Evangelize Social: Be the internal champion for social, educating stakeholders, influencing without authority, and building alignment across teams and leadership. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms (i.e. Social Media) experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in social and digital strategy, ideally with a mix of agency and in-house roles. Proven track record of leading social strategies at scale and shaping how brands show up in culture. Experience partnering with creative teams and agencies to deliver high-impact social content. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect social activity to business KPIs. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders. Passion for financial services, consumer behavior, and the evolving social landscape. Job Expectations: Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
