Job Description

The Manager of US Earned & Social Media will develop and execute integrated communications strategies for our U.S. brands (Advil, TUMS, Centrum, Sensodyne, etc.) that earn attention, drive consumer engagement, and bolster relevancy as part of Haleon’s modern marketing transformation. You’ll work across a portfolio of brands, collaborating with cross-functional teams and agency partners to craft compelling narratives, build PR, influencer, and social strategies, and amplify brand moments that break through in culture. These responsibilities include some of the following: Own the planning and management of consumer-centered earned & social strategies as part of integrated marketing campaigns that align with brand & business objectives Deeply collaborate with our marketing and agency teams Develop agency and creator briefs, manage creator & talent casting, manage strategy & content reviews Define KPIs and track performance across earned and social campaigns; analyze results and provide actionable insights to optimize future efforts Support enterprise ‘next gen’ capability building that future proof our brands’ for strongest presence, perception, and relevance with consumers Partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams (Media, Performance Marketing, Insights, R&D, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Sales, etc.) Manage and collaborate closely with agency partners Provide investment counsel to marketing teams pertaining to their PR, social, and influencer budgets Maintain an understanding of industry and media trends affecting our brands and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategies Identify and manage issues which may have an impact on our brands’ reputations, developing proactive and reactive messaging to mitigate potential issues *The position is based in Warren, NJ, and follows a hybrid model, requiring an in-office presence of 3 days per week. Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 10+ years brand integrated communications experience inclusive of PR, influencer, and social media strategy development & execution Deep experience with IAT planning Deep understanding of the evolving media landscape, social platforms, and influencer ecosystem Strong strategic thinking, execution and overall business acumen. Must demonstrate sound judgment and be able to deal with ambiguity and handle sensitive situations. Earned media relations experience Experience in issues management and crisis communications Experience building, managing, and evaluating earned & social media budgets Highly collaborative and evidenced strength in broad stakeholder management including senior executives, cross-functional peers, and external partners Agility and composure to work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines Excellent writing & communication skills Passion for culture, creativity, and innovation Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: CPG experience, brand or agency side Experience working in a global matrixed organization, across cultures and teams of geographically dispersed people with strong ability to priorities Strong capability in managing changing business environment and ambiguity Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.
